my first one was green and brown and the second one that i am doing is rusty red after the rusty red one i will have 3 more to do for Xmas presents

i just finished my first crismas present today it was a mughug i leared how to decrease by k2tog and i a button hole and cast of my self i will put a pic up later as soon as i can

Stuck

I got stuck doing the topsy turvy doll. I think I need to practice purling a lot more first.

I finished a dish cloth yesterday and I'm going to give it to my granny jean. This is the dish cloth.


Yesterday was World Wide Knit in Public day. I met one of the knit and knatter ladies and we knitted for a wee while in the shop. I wanted to knit a blanket and she said little squares would be a great idea because I could practice lots of different stitches.

Having another go

I didn't get the hang of purling as quickly as I wanted to and then I forgot my blog password. But I'm going to give it another go.

I didn't get my turquoise scarf finished or my red on with the purling. I've joined Ravelry and have put some toys in my queue. I hope I manage to knit some before my aunty's baby comes in November.

I'm doing a pompon blanket too for my brownie leader. She's having her baby in September and I'm half way through the blanket. I've left it at my mums shop so I'll have to take a picture later.
