Learning to purl

I'm learning to purl now. It's quite easy but I get mixed up about if I'm on a knit row or a purl row. My mum says I'll get there :)

Garter stitch scarf

I started knitting a scarf. It's plain knitting again but I'm using a wool that stripes by itself. I think it'll look really good when I get it finished but it's taking me ages!

The first thing I ever knitted

This was the first thing I ever knitted. It was a garter stitch square hat. This is me just starting.

This is just past the turn back. I still had a long way to go.

I got it finished in September, just in time for our local flower show.

I really like the tassles. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything at the flower show but I dont mind. I'm very very happy that I finished the hat.
